Ours is a family business, in the sense that everything that really matters is within our history, rooted with us in the land of Abruzzo and always handed down. Deep down we are still farmers: everything else changes, grows, evolves with the times, but not so the family core, the true way in which work, and life are faced. The main custodians of this tradition are today Carlo and Adriano Spinelli, the two sons of the founder Vincenzo. Learn More

Roberto Cosimi bought 65 hectares of land with the money he had saved up by selling agricultural machinery. When he made the first bottle of Brunello in Montalcino there were only 28 producers. For my father, producing his own bottles was an enormous satisfaction. I proudly carry on his work by creating an increasingly refined artisan product, appreciated by wine lovers from my Montalcino area. Today is owned and operated by his son, Rodolfo.
Willamette Valley Pioneers
Don and Wendy Lange founded their eponymous winery and estate vineyard in 1987 with an inaugural vintage that included small-lot bottlings of pinot noir, chardonnay and pinot gris. These varietals continue to form the core of their portfolio.
Considered New World pioneers in the production of pinot gris, Lange Estate was the first in the United States to release a barrel-fermented style, an effort that Wine Spectator senior editor Matt Kramer hailed as a “bench-mark” bottling. Wine Enthusiast proclaimed Lange Estate to be “one of the great Pinot Noir producers in the United States”.
FROM FAMED ROCKER NEIL GIRALDO!
One night as I was sipping bourbon in my studio with friends, the conversation naturally turned to music, sound and composition. We began to wonder how blending the “tones” of various whiskeys together could create a unique “harmony” of flavor.
We knew bourbon’s role in Americana music and the American dream. We knew we loved it. We knew that the blues and the “three chord” progression were a blank score that we could compose our own masterpiece with. Truth, heart, and integrity.
In 2004, Alexander Vik, a Norwegian entrepreneur, proposed the creation of a world-class vineyard to produce a unique wine.
A holistic vineyard creating world class wines, located on 11.000 acres of Chilean nature, and featuring an architecturally exceptional winery, restaurant and retreat. “Science and knowledge are our foundation, passion is our engine and the wine is the expression of our Art”
The viti-vinicultural concept at VIK is based on the technique of optimizing each stage of grape growing and wine production, with an important focus on science and technology, all of which is adapted to each of our valleys in order to achieve the optimum maturity levels in our fruit and to create the best wine.
